Todays post is on the latest tragedy in the Hollywood scene of a young, lovely and entertaining actress and singer Naya Rivera. The top trending news of the demise of the glee movie star Naya Rivera as of Monday 13th July 2020 after a six day search for her missing body on the lake tihu after her son was found on the platoon boat without his mum sent the world of Hollywood on a scare Yet as of Thursday her body was found afloat the lake. What really happened we do not know yet with my findings she saved her son but without much strength couldn't save her self as well.
Her devastating news of her demise flooded the social media with prior urgent pleas for authorities to “keep searching” for the actress who was beloved for starring in “Glee” — but who also was known for a turbulent off-screen life that included an ill-fated romance with former castmate Mark Salling and a feud with co-actor Michelle lea. However, authorities said Thursday morning that Rivera, 33, is presumed dead in a possible drowning at Lake Piru in Ventura County, and the search has shifted from a rescue to a recovery mission, TMZ reported. Rivera went missing during a boating and swimming trip with her 4-year-old son, Josey Dorsey what a tragedy.
The boy was found sleeping on the boat, which acciracco to CNN she tried saving her son but Rivera was no where to be found. Ventura County Sheriff’s Department officials told NBC Los Angeles that it is considered to be “a horrible accident.” Authorities also referred to it as a possible drowning.
The child star turned adult phenom had endless talent and even bigger dreams, but none of that topped her self-described "first priority": raising her beloved 4-year-old
Scroll through Naya Rivera's recent Twitter activity and you'll get a pretty solid picture of who she was in 2020.
A dedicated mom, filling her and 4-year-old son Josey Dorsey's days soaking up sunshine and baking gluten-free pizzas from scratch, her final post a sweet, snuggled up snap she captioned "just the two of us".
A person devoted to making her piece of the world a better place through activism (on Breonna Taylor's would-be 27th birthday June 5, she attended a Black Lives Matter protest) and continuously drumming up funds for her favorite charity, L.A.'s Alexandria House.
A triple threat still making use of every ounce of the talent she displayed on Glee, her latest gig as dancer-turned-school administrator Colette Jones on Step Up: High Water getting bumped upfrom YouTube to Starz.
But it's one of her final tweets—a missive she dashed off on July 2—that will make you stop in your tracks. "no matter the year, circumstance, or strifes everyday you're alive is a blessing," she wrote. "make the most of today and every day you are given. tomorrow is not promised."
An eerie case of prescience, her words proved all too true six days later when the Ventura County Sheriff's Department announced July 8 they were combing every inch of California's Lake Piru for signs of the missing star. Hours earlier, when Rivera failed to return the pontoon she'd rented for an afternoon on the reservoir, some 50 miles north of Los Angeles, workers tracked down the boat and found Josey on board, alone and fast asleep and immediately called 911, kicking off the desperate search for the single mom.
Everyone from Demi Lovato to former fiancΓ© Big Sean to her fellow Glee alum sent up prayers for her safe retrieval, but by the late morning hours of July 9, the operation had shifted from a search and rescue to recovery, the 33-year-old presumed to have drowned in the often treacherous 160-foot waters that had claimed so many others. Following five days of efforts, authorities confirmed the worst, announcing the star's body had been found.
Fans took to Twitter to remind the world that Rivera didn’t just play Santana Lopez on the hit musical TV show, “Glee.” She was also was a brilliantly talented performer, friend and mother to Josey, “who needs his mom.
Sadly, her disappearance also marks the latest tragedy in a turbulent life that often played out in the tabloids. It also may be the latest heartbreak to strike the cast of “Glee,” which ran from 2009 to 2015.Rivera rose to fame playing Santana Lopez in “Glee,” which centered on the fictional William McKinley High School glee club. Rivera’s Santana started out as a “Mean Girl” cheerleader, but her character evolved into a popular, sympathetic figure, in part because of her struggles with her sexuality. In later episodes, Santana tried to pursue a career as a performer and married fellow former “Cheerios” Brittany (played by Heather Morris).Mark Salling and Naya Rivera attend a celebration of Glee’s Golden Globe nominations in 2010. Santana feuded with fellow diva, Rachel Berry, played by Lea Michele — a rivalry that may have reflected what was going on in real life between the two up-and-coming young stars.
During the production of “Glee,” Rivera carried on a three-year relationship with cast-mate Mark Salling, which started in 2009. Salling played football jock Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the show.
After the show ended, Salling was arrested in December 2015 in connection with receiving and possessing thousands of pornographic images of prepubescent minors. He pleaded guilty in December 2017 and died by suicide in January 2018, two months before he was to be sentenced to seven years in prison. Salling was 35.
Salling’s suicide left his family and “Glee” co-stars heartbroken over the tragically criminal turn his life took.
For her part, Rivera admitted she wasn’t totally shocked by the news of Salling’s dark side, giving that she said he cheated on her and pushed her to use drugs. In her 2016 memoir, “Sorry Not Sorry: Dreams, Mistakes and Growing Up” Rivera expressed relief that the relationship had ended years earlier. “I had no doubt that God really did have my back along the way,” she wrote.
Rivera, unfortunately, continued to have a difficult time with other relationships. She dated rapper Big Sean, but he called off their engagement in the spring of 2014 after he accused of her of being too controlling, while she accused him of stealing Rolex watches, according to various outlets.
A few months later, Rivera married Ryan Dorsey, a longtime actor friend, “seemingly out of nowhere,” TMZ reported at the time. Rivera and Dorsey initially broke up in November 2016 but made some effort to reconcile. Rivera was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery in November 2017 after allegedly getting “physical” and “out of control” and striking Dorsey during an argument.
Dorsey subsequently asked for the battery charged to be dismissed, the couple finalized their divorce in June 2018 and were reportedly sharing custody and co-parenting their son, E! News reported.
Fans came to know her as a loving mother to Josey:
Over the years, Rivera also was called on to address her reported feud with Michele. Michele’s possible “diva” behavior on the “Glee” set became news again last month after other former castmates took to social media to accuse Michele of being bullying, “unpleasant” and a “nightmare” to work with, the Insider reported.(L-R) Santana (Naya Rivera) and Rachel (Lea Michele) perform in the ‘Dance With Somebody’ episode of ‘Glee.’
After Michele tweeted a message in support for the Black Lives Matter movement, following the killing of George Floyd, Samantha Marie Ware, who is Black, publicly labeled Michele a hypocrite and wrote back to Michele’s tweet: “LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET.”
Ware described Michele’s acts towards her as among the many “traumatic micro-aggressions” that caused her to question a career in Hollywood. Ware was backed by other “Glee” actors, including Amber Riley. The complaints forced Michele to apologize and to acknowledge that she “clearly acted in ways that hurt other people.”
Rivera didn’t address the recent complaints about Michele, but she previously tended to downplay the feud reports. However, she wrote in her 2016 memoir: “We are both strong willed and competitive — not just with each other but with everyone — and that’s not a good mixture.”
She wrote that Michele probably didn’t like sharing the spotlight when Santana moved from a background character to one with bigger plot lines and more screen time.
